ANYTHING CONTAINING CALORIES OR ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS WILL BREAK YOUR FAST.

WHILE A CALORIE DEFICIT WILL HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT, WE DON’T ENCOURAGE COUNTING CALORIES. THE NUMBER OF CALORIES IN A MEAL DOES NOT REVEAL THE NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF THE MEAL– AND COUNTING THE CALORIES CAN HAVE A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON YOUR PSYCHE. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO FOCUS ON PRIORITIZING NUTRIENT-DENSE INGREDIENTS TO KEEP YOUR BODY RUNNING! SMALL, SUSTAINABLE, HEALTHIER CHOICES EACH DAY CAN HELP YOU TO FUEL YOURSELF INTUITIVELY.

CRAVINGS ARE COMMON! RECOGNIZE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HUNGER AND CRAVINGS. DRINK A LOT OF WATER, GET PLENTY OF SLEEP (SERIOUSLY- IT CAN HAVE A HUGE IMPACT ON CRAVINGS), AND PRIORITIZE PROTEIN DURING YOUR EATING WINDOW (PROTEIN WILL KEEP YOU SATIATED LONGER).

WHILE IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ONLY DRINK WATER DURING A FAST TO ENSURE ADEQUATE HYDRATION, YOU MAY DRINK PLAIN BLACK COFFEE OR TEA WITH NOTHING ADDED. JUICE, HYDRATION POWDERS, OR ANY DRINK THAT HAS A CALORIC VALUE WILL BREAK YOUR FAST. ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS WITH ZERO CALORIES HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO SPIKE INSULIN LEVELS, AND ARE THEREFORE ALSO NOT RECOMMENDED DURING YOUR FAST.

MANY PRE-WORKOUT BEVERAGES CONTAIN CALORIES OR ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS, WHICH TECHNICALLY BREAK YOUR FAST. 

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND FASTING WHILE PREGNANT OR NURSING TO ENSURE THAT YOU AND YOUR BABY GET THE PROPER NUTRITION YOU NEED. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR WITH ANY QUESTIONS.

INTERMITTENT FASTING IS SAFE FOR MANY PEOPLE, BUT WE RECOMMEND CHECKING WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE INTERMITTENT FASTING, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF MEDICAL PROBLEMS. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND INTERMITTENT FASTING IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING.

IF YOU ARE A MOGULBODY X OR MOGULBODY X+ MEMBER AND HAVE PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED A FAST THAT YOU FORGOT TO START ON THE CLOCK, YOU MAY START IT UP TO 1 HOUR AFTER YOUR FAST WAS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN. SIMPLY CLICK “START FAST” AND THE APP WILL PROMPT YOU TO EDIT THE START TIME IF YOUR FAST WAS SCHEDULED EARLIER.

WORKOUTS

YOU CAN SEE YOUR WORKOUTS ONLY ON THE DAY THAT THE WORKOUT IS SCHEDULED. YOU CAN ACCESS THE WORKOUT ONE OF TWO WAYS: (1) CLICKING THE WORKOUT BANNER THAT APPEARS AT THE TOP OF YOUR HOME SCREEN ON THE DAY THAT YOUR WORKOUT IS SCHEDULED; OR (2) CLICKING ON THE DATE IN THE “CALENDAR” TAB ON THE DAY YOUR WORKOUT IS SCHEDULED.

WE UNDERSTAND THAT THINGS HAPPEN! WHILE YOU CANNOT GO BACK TO REVISIT THE WORKOUT MISSED, YOU CAN CONTINUE WHERE YOU LEFT OFF ON THE NEXT SCHEDULED WORKOUT DAY. HOWEVER, IT IS MOST RECOMMENDED THAT YOU EXIT THE CHALLENGE AND START AGAIN. THE WORKOUT CHALLENGES WERE DESIGNED TO PROGRESSIVELY INTENSIFY OVER THE COURSE OF EACH CHALLENGE, AND SKIPPING WORKOUTS WILL SKIP IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT.

WHILE MANY WORKOUT PROGRAMS ALLOW YOU TO LOOK FORWARD OR BACK AT THE OTHER WORKOUTS IN THE PROGRAM— THIS PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED AS A CHALLENGE TO COMMIT AND HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE. THEREFORE, YOU CAN ONLY ACCESS THE WORKOUTS ON THE DAY THAT YOU COMMITTED TO COMPLETE EACH OF THEM.

ALL WORKOUT CHALLENGES IN THE APP ARE BASED ON THE PRINCIPLE OF PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD AND ARE A GREAT SUPPLEMENT TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS. WE RECOMMEND COMMITTING TO A CHALLENGE THAT WORKS WELL IN YOUR LIFESTYLE AND WITH YOUR SCHEDULE. THE WEIGHTED WORKOUTS WILL REQUIRE ACCESS TO GYM EQUIPMENT, WHILE THE BODYWEIGHT WORKOUTS CAN BE COMPLETED ANYWHERE. FURTHERMORE, THE WEIGHTED WORKOUTS ARE STRUCTURED WITH A SPECIFIC NUMBER OF REPS TO COMPLETE WITH NO TIME LIMIT, WHILE THE BODYWEIGHT WORKOUTS ARE TIMED AND WILL TAKE AROUND 30 MINUTES TO COMPLETE.

PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD IS THE PRINCIPLE OF PROGRESSIVELY INCREASING THE INTENSITY, WEIGHT, OR RESISTANCE IN YOUR WORKOUT TO HELP YOUR MUSCLES GROW STRONGER. PUT SIMPLY: EACH WORKOUT WITHIN A CHALLENGE WILL GRADUALLY MAKE YOUR MUSCLES WORK HARDER.
